Chef Chris Remrey
A native of Clinton, Iowa, Chef Chris credits his deep love for cooking and creating to his late grandmother, Joyce Gilbert. His culinary journey began in the dish room of Porky's restaurant in the Lyon's district and has evolved into a lifelong career.
For 18 years, Chris was a cornerstone at the Clinton Hy-Vee store, serving as an assistant kitchen manager, catering manager, and store retail chef. He is well-known throughout Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois for his exceptional event catering.
Beyond the kitchen line, Chris is a passionate chef instructor who loves delving into research, food science, molecular gastronomy, and championing locally-sourced, sustainable products.
Chef Brittany Remrey
A native of Bettendorf, Iowa, Chef Brittany brings over a decade of food service expertise to Creative Catering Caravan. Like Chris, she honed her skills at the Clinton Hy-Vee, serving as both a kitchen manager and food service supervisor.
Chef Brittany has a sharp eye for food presentation. She is currently furthering her expertise as a culinary student at the Auguste Escoffier School of Pastry Arts. Local gourmands specifically seek out her stunning, artistic charcuterie works, which serve as gorgeous edible centerpieces for any event.
